1. AreIsochronic Tonessafe for everyone to use?

For most individuals, Isochronic Tones are perfectly safe. Some people may feel uncomfortable and even experience temporary headaches when listening to Isochronic Tones for the 1st time. If you feel that way, don’t worry, these effects are only temporary and go away quite fast. It is therefore advisable to take baby steps: listen for 5 minutes, then 10, then 15... And see how that feels. You can then continue with sessions of a full hour, or even longer.

However, People with seizure disorders and other health issues should consult their doctor before proceeding.

As for children, we have no direct evidence that suggests it's dangerous to children. Ultimately it's the parents’ choice and responsibility to decide if their child is mentally ready for brain frequency change.

Note - never listen to them while performing any task that requires your full attention, such as driving, cycling, cooking or operating equipment.

2. Do I have to use stereo headphones?

Unlike Binaural Beats, Isochronic Tones can be used without headphones, but headphones are always recommended if available, as they can help to eliminate external distractions, and make your sessions more effective.

Note: Isochronic Tones need to be audible to be effective. However, you shouldn’t make the mistake of turning the recording up too loud, as this can result in a headache. So make sure you listen at a comfortable volume, especially if you’re using headphones.

3. How long should I listen to Isochronic Tones? Can I listen to Isochronic Tones at any time of the day?

It’s OK for you to choose any time setting from the app depend on your situations. We recommend staying under 3 hours a day.

As for the best listening time of the day, it depends on the brainwave pattern/the frequencies you're listening to. Be sure the brainwave you have chosen fall in line with your daily activities. Too much of either state can interfere with normal daily functioning. Please read the following guidelines:

Take the chart above into consideration and match your session with the purpose. Don't exercise while listening to Delta - Don't sleep while listening to Beta - and Never operate anything dangerous when listening.
Another technique is to match the session’s range to the time of day. For example, try Theta/Alpha in the early mornings before the household awakes.

4. Will it result in dependence on these brainwaves after listening to them?

Actually quite the opposite. The goal is to develop the minds ability to shift frequencies at your own control. Gain absolute control of your minds vibration and tune it to do whatever you want. The recordings are tools that help you develop those abilities. And there may be a day when you no-longer need the recordings because your mind already learned how to shift to that frequency.

5. I fall asleep when I was listening to the brainwaves, is that normal?

Delta is sleep. Theta can be sleepy/dreams. Alpha and beta are conscious mind. So it is normal if you fall asleep when listening to them. If you are falling asleep while listening to Alpha/beta, try sitting with crossed legs (Indian style). This will align your chakras over one another and provide an erect spine for quick electro-messaging through the spinal chord. It will also keep you awake.

Another technique is to match the sessions range to the time of day. Try Theta/Alpha in the early mornings before the household awakes.

1. What are the steps to purchase brainwaves? How to download my purchased brainwaves?

If you'd like to purchase the brainwaves, go to "Store" and wait till store data finishes updating. Tap on the brainwave title that interests you to learn more. Then if you decided to buy, tap the “Purchase” button. You will be asked for your account. Enter your Apple ID and password.There will be a pop-up message to ask you to confirm your In-App Purchase. Tap Buy button. You will receive the thank you message for successfully purchasing. All your purchased brainwaves will be listed in your Library for downloading. You may go to Library to check the download process.

How to download your purchased brainwaves:
If you purchased a single track or a session’s package, the "Purchase" button will change into "Downloading". All your purchased recordings will be listed in "Library" and they will be downloaded automatically one by one. You will see the first one’s downloading circle moves as the downloading proceeds. Once the circle is full, the icon will turn bright. That means the downloading is completed and you can tap to play. Then the next recording with “ Waiting” state will start downloading.

If you purchased the Super Packages, all the recordings included will be listed in your Library with a download icon. Tap the download icon of the brainwaves you want to download to start the downloading process. You can choose multiple brainwave titles at the same time.

Note:
Exit the app when downloading will stop the downloading process. It will continue the next time you enter the application. Please download the brainwave sessions under stable internet connection.

2. I can only find one free sample. Where are the other samples?

In the app, we only offer one full-length brainwave sessions for free. For more samples, please go to "Store", and then tap on the brainwave you are interested in. You will find a "Preview" button next to the "Purchase" button. Tap on the "Preview" button and you will be able to listen to the free one-minute sample clip.

3. I just downloaded your app from iTunes, but there’s nothing in “Store”.

Please start the Brainwaves app, tap "Store", you will see "Updating Store Data...” After it completed updating, you will see all the brainwaves. While slow Internet connection may cause it fail to update store data and you may unable to view the brainwaves in “Store” within the app. For this issue, we recommend you keep on trying until you see “Update completed!” or you can try again at another time.

4. I want to buy brainwaves within the app, but I was not allowed to make In-App purchases.

Please go to your device's Settings>>General>>Restrictions, there is a section under "Allowed Content" for "In-app Purchases." Make sure that "In-App Purchases" is "On".

5. My iPhone/iPad broke, how do I get the app/brainwaves back?

If you need to change a device or your application was deleted from your device, you can re-install it through App Store. After that, please go to "Library" and tap "Restore Purchase" button. Then enter your account, it should be the same with the account you purchase the recordings. When "Restore" finished, you will see all the recordings you’ve purchased in "Library".

6. After I updated my iPad/ reinstalled the app,all the recordings I’ve downloaded disappeared from the Library. What should I do?

Please don't worry. You are able to get your purchase back through our Restore feature. Please tap "Restore Purchases" button in "Library" within the app, enter your account, again, the account you entered should be the same with the account you purchase the recordings. When "Restore" finished, you will see all the recordings you’ve purchased in "Library".

7. I purchased brainwaves on my iPad and want to have the brainwaves on my iPhone/iPod touch too or vice versa. How to do that?

Our app can be synchronized between iOS devices with Restore feature.
To install the brainwaves on a different device, please install the app on your iPhone/iPod touch>>Start the app>>Go to Library>>Tap Restore button. Please make sure that you use the same account. Once the downloading is finished, you will be able to play the downloaded brainwave.

8. Is there a MP3 format available for each brainwave?

No. We do not offer MP3 format of each brainwave, while you can order MP3 format brainwave from our partner - The Unexplainable Store.

Also, we are working with The Unexplainable Store to build a business model that will offerour user a discount if they want to buy the MP3 format brainwave recording on PC.

9. How can I update the app to the latest version? What about my downloaded recordings?

To update your iPhone apps:

Step 1: Turn on your iPhone, then tap on the "App Store" icon. Note: The number is shown to notify the number of app updates available. If there are no updates, no number will be shown.

Step 2: Now tap on "Updates" at the bottom right, and the list of apps that need updating will be shown.

Step 3: Find our app and tap to update.

Note: If you are asked to log in to your iTunes account, do it and you'll get the permission to download the update.

Please rest assured no purchase will be lost. Should that happen, you can "Restore" your purchases through our 'Restore' feature in "Library". However, if the issue persists, you can delete the app, and re-install it through iTunes. After that,please tap in Library and restore all your purchases through our 'Restore' feature.

10. I am using brainwaves on my iPad right now; can I transfer the app to my android or other Smart Phone?

Right now our Brainwaves app is only compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The Brainwaves app on Android Google Play and the one on iTunes App Store, they are two independent apps (one Android only and one iPad/iPhone/iPod touch only). We apologize for all the inconveniences. We are working on this cross-platform synchronization. However, it will take some time. We will try our best to bring more conveniences to our user.

11. I have purchased a brainwave in the app but unable to download it, what should I do?

If the downloading circle doesn’t move, it's probably caused by the low Internet connection speed. In this case, please check your internet connection or try again at another time.

12. Can't connect to the iTunes Store

You may be unable to purchase in-apps in our app. You might also see an alert message similar to one of the following:

1. 'Cannot connect to the iTunes Store.'
2. 'Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction.'

When you buy brainwave recordings in our app, the only thing that the app does is to automatically contact the Apple server and all the process and the payment queue is demanded to Apple. So if you are experiencing the issue mentioned above, we suggest you contact Apple support and explain to them your issue.

13. Can I get a discount if I purchase many brainwaves?

Currently we are not able to offer discounts for multi-program purchases. However, we offer discounted packages for some of the brainwaves. Please go to "Store", you will see all brainwaves we have now. And some of them offer great discounted packages.

In addition, we usually have some promotion activities. If you are interested in any brainwaves or categories, please let us know and email us at support@imoblife.net, so we will consider adding them in our promotion offers.

14. I purchased a brainwave for $12.99, but it charged me $13.99. Why am I being charged $1 more?

It is not actual charge, it’s acredit-card authorization hold. As with many other merchants, the iTunes Store and Mac App Store places an authorization hold on your credit card account for the approximate amount of any purchase you make. Similarly, if you update your billing information, the iTunes Store or Mac App Store will place an authorization hold on your credit card account, usually in the amount of 1 USD, to verify your account information. It is removed by your financial institution shortly after your purchase clears. The amount of time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution.

To review the actual charges on your account, you may review your iTunes ‘Purchase History’.

15. How to repeat one recording? How to play several brainwaves continually?

Before play the session repeatedly, please make sure the timer set longer enough for the repeat time. Then go to Library, find the session you want to play, and tap Play button.

You are able to build a playlist for you recordings and play them continually. Please do as follows:
1> Start the app and go to Playlist (you will find the Playlist button on the upper right of the player).
2>You will see default playlist named Relax there, tap it (You can also create some new playlists in Playlist. Just tap the Create New Playlist button.)
3> Add Recording
4>You will see all your purchase there, tap the plus button besides each recording to add it to your Relax playlist.
5> Then Back, you should see a Play button on the left of the default playlist - Relax. Tap it to play your sessions...

1. Is it ok to listen to different brainwaves one after another or should I stick to one brainwave for a period of time?

Yes, it is OK to listen to different brainwaves one after anotheras long as they naturally follow the last. The natural pattern is Delta - Theta - Alpha - Beta / or reverse.

Alpha to theta = OK
Theta to Alpha = OK
Beta to Alpha = OK
Beta to Delta = NOT OK

2. Can I turn off the background music/nature sounds?

No, the background music/nature sounds cannot be turned off. Isochronic Tones must be audible to be effective, while some people may find the tunes to be irritating (especially at the deeper theta and delta frequencies) and they appear to be more resistant to the effects of Isochronic Tones. So our brainwave expert specially designed these music/nature sounds to ease thenegative aspect caused by Isochronic Tones and help resonate brain waves into target states and stimulate physical and subconscious response.

3. The player always stops after 30-mins. How can I change or remove the timer?

This is probably because the default timer setting is 30 minutes. Please tap on the timer setting (clock-shaped button) on 'Home Page', and reset the playback time or turn the timer off (Turn Off Timer - the recording will be played in an infinite loop).
Note: Before changing the timer setting, please stop the player first.

4. I found that some brainwave recording is not smooth, are there some problems with it?

Every brainwave entrainment method has its strong and weak points. One downside of Isochronic Tones is that the tones must be audible to be effective. While isochronic recordings can be enhanced with other sounds, the tones mustn’t be drowned out by these. This can be a disadvantage to some people, since Isochronic Tones have quite a distinctive sound which some dislike, and aren’t as soothing as monaural beats.

In addition to the above reason, there is another reason which may cause the playback process not smooth, that is the large size of the recording. If you also met this problem, we suggest you quit all the apps running in the background, and then restart our app. You can do as follows:

1. Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
2. Double-tap the Home button to display recent apps.
3. Tap and hold your finger on one of them until the red minus appears.
4. Tap the red minus to quit all the apps.
5. Press the Home button, and then restart our app.

5. I purchased several brainwaves;one of them has an electronic noise like “zzz” sound. Is it the way it supposed to be?

Some people may beconfused between brainwave patterns and pure noise. Some of the brainwave frequencies resemble white noise (light 'zzz' sound) for desired altered state of mind. However, if you are a first-time user, it may take time to get used to it, but once you tuned in, you will find its benefits/effects like all our other users.

6. Why doesn’t the recording work for me?

We talked about the importance of listening regularly above. Related to this is the need for patience and consistency. Many people do experience fantastic results from our brainwave entrainment recordings the very first time they listen, while this isn’t always the case.

Sometimes it takes several sessions with a recording to begin to experience the full benefits. Also, some people appear to be more resistant to the effects of Isochronic Tones and other brainwave entrainment methods. If you’re one of them, this doesn’t mean it’ll never work for you – just that you might need to give it more time and effort than others.

7. Are there instruction manuals?

Our instruction manual is a work in progress. So currently only some of the brainwaves have instruction manuals (Open the app>Info> User Manual). There are libraries full of information on these subjects and there is no way we can cover them all. And we always recommend doing your own research to decide what practice routine and techniques will work best for you.

1. Why are your recordings so expensive?

We operate in Good Nature, and are not out to overcharge anyone. We consider all of our products to be of Positive Benefit and we bask in joyful feelings when we help people. Many other vendors charge more for shorter recordings of less quality, but we give you more for less! We do this because we know that most of our customers return to purchase additional products. We would rather gain your trust and have you as a repeat customer than make a quick buck one time by overcharging you.

The revenue generated allows for our research and product development / improvement to continue. Most other competitors are pure marketers, who produce low-end recordings quickly for the sole purpose of selling-out. But we keep our distance from them by devoting a lot of research and testing-time to each recording and work through a business model that gives as much back (if not more) to the customers as possible. When you buy from The Unexplainable Store- you know you bought the top of the line.

2. How can I get a refund?

If you are not satisfied with our app/brainwave sessions, you are entitled to a full refund. That is guaranteed. However, according to Apple's Return and Refund Policy, we can't refund you directly. Please contact iTunes Support to authorize the refund, and we will be happy to coordinate.
